The tournament, which featured the 2014 Champions, Ghana, also included teams from Uganda, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Kenya and various teams from South Africa took place in Johannesburg on the 16th of August at the Inanda Club, Sandton.

The tournament weekend kicked off on Friday, 14 August with a Stakeholder Welcome Cocktail hosted by the City of Johannesburg, the tournament's Host City Partner, inviting an eclectic polo playing mix of cultures, our partners and the media.

This premier event saw some of Africa's top polo players competing in a three-day knock out tournament, which concluded on Sunday 16 August. The participating teams were Land Rover, Arcobrau Fairfield, Imilingo, Optima Polo, EFG Uganda, Zimbabwe Land Rover, Ghana Polistas, Nigeria Airbus Helicopters, King Plazza Polo Club and Kenyan Rovers.
